Business Innovation Visa - Subclass 188 A
This visa will enable you to own and operate a new or existing business in Australia. A State or Territory agency must nominate you. It is a four-year temporary residence visa, and you may qualify to apply for a permanent residence visa (888) after two years.
Applicants must meet the points test pass mark of 65, but State and Territory agencies may require a higher point score to nominate you. Victoria currently seeks a minimum of 80 points. Points award for total personal and business assets, education level, English skills, years of business experience and business turnover.
We are very experienced in assisting clients in working through all the requirements and steps to gain this visa.
- Firstly, we would assess as to whether you appear to meet the essential requirements and your possible point score. Next, we seek your advice as to which state or territory you would hope to live in and discuss the type of business you may wish to engage in when you arrive in Australia. We have a sound appreciation of business opportunities in Australia and can assist you in the formalities of establishing your business in Australia.
- Once we have an understanding of your requirements, we assist in preparing and submitting a nomination to the state or territory you choose and go on to complete and lodge your visa application.
- Once meeting the requirements for lodging a permanent visa after two years (or a later date if necessary), we can go on to prepare and lodge your permanent resident visa, subclass 888.
